XBP Global had grown through acquisition—absorbing Exela Technologies and expanding from regional operations into a global business. But the brand didn't reflect the business reality. More critically, the market was shifting: traditional business process outsourcing was becoming table stakes. The future was hyperautomation and agentic AI. XBP needed a brand that could credibly compete in that space. The challenge was threefold: unify a fragmented portfolio of regional brands under one coherent system, reposition from "we automate processes" to "we orchestrate intelligent systems," and build a visual and verbal identity that could carry the company into the next era of enterprise automation. This required more than a visual refresh—it demanded strategic clarity at the foundation level.

I developed the strategic positioning that would drive everything else. Our Story became the filter for every decision: "At XBP Global, we grow with purpose: orchestrating mission-critical systems that deliver hyperautomation through domain expertise, adaptive AI, and measurable outcomes." Vision positioned where we're going. But the real work was in the Values framework—ABC: Accountability, Belief, Competence. These weren't poster values. Each came with specific behaviors that described what it looks like in practice.

With nine business units operating under different names and visual systems, we needed architecture that unified without homogenizing. I developed a branded house model that established XBP Global as the master brand while maintaining flexibility for regional and service entities. This framework now guides how the entire portfolio shows up in market—from pitch decks to websites to conference presence.

The core creative challenge: how do you make hyperautomation feel human? The answer became what we call the "Last Gesture Principle"—showing professionals at the exact moment they complete a task. Eyes off-camera, final keystroke, signature going down. The moment where human judgment hands off to automated systems. This visual language carried across all brand touchpoints: campaign imagery, website, pitch decks, internal communications.

I led the integration of AI tools across our entire creative workflow. We built prompt libraries across all nine business units, established brand-safe image generation systems using Adobe Firefly, and created frameworks that reduced production time 40% while maintaining quality standards. This wasn't just about efficiency—it was about building scalable creative systems that could keep pace with business growth.

The hardest part of any rebrand isn't the creative work—it's implementation at scale. I built design systems with templates and guidelines, campaign frameworks for consistent storytelling, and a complete brand toolkit that enables distributed teams to maintain consistency without constant oversight. These systems now power everything from regional marketing to global campaigns.

XBP Global now operates with a brand that matches its capabilities. The repositioning from traditional BPO to hyperautomation platform has opened conversations with enterprise clients who previously saw us as commodity providers. The brand architecture unified the portfolio while maintaining necessary flexibility. The design systems enable scale without sacrificing quality. And the AI-powered workflows prove the hyperautomation positioning isn't just talk—it's how we work internally.
